This past weekend was Run4Ryann, a 5k run or a 3k walk, that was put together to raise money for Ellensburg’s Sparrow Club recipient Ryann Thurman, a 7-year-old born with a disease that interferes with her skull growth, to help purchase a mini-van with a wheelchair lift to allow for proper transportation.
The event was put together by Central students who are part of the Central Communications Agency who had taken Utopia on as a client.
In total they were able to raise just a little over $9,000 and over 400 hundred people showed up to run or walk to raise money for Ryann.
We are all very proud of the hard work that our students put into creating an event to help make our community a better place.
