Happiness Day is here! Don’t miss the fun as the Douglas Honors College creates a positive atmosphere around campus by providing fun and intellectually stimulating activities, all for free!
Throughout the day, participants can enjoy henna tattoos, bracelet making, video games, letter writing and displays of the “What is Happiness?” class’s projects in SURC 137.
The Central Washington Artists United Club will be on hand to create caricatures from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the SURC tabling area.
Don’t miss Dr. Ken Briggs speech on the correlation between positive behavior and happiness at noon, followed by a performance from Jazz Band 3 at 1 p.m. and a pianist at 2 p.m.
The Neuroscience Club will host a showing of the film “Patch Adams” along with a discussion with the Psychology Department faculty at 6 p.m.
Outdoor activities will range from tie dyeing to bocce ball and slacklining and free giveaways will take place all day. Students, staff and the community are all invited to take part and enjoy this day dedicated to happiness!
