Earth Day Family Festival & MCE’s Second Annual Salmon Run 5K/10K

Come to CWU tomorrow, April 19th, to celebrate Earth Day by participating in the Earth Day Family Festival and the Second Annual Salmon Run! The Earth Day Family Festival will take place on the lawn of Dean Hall from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is FREE for everyone! There will be dancing troupes, face painting, and fun educational activities! The Museum of Culture and Environment will be hosting a variety of information tables and activities to teach conservation and preservation to all ages!

Are you a runner? The Museum of Culture and Environment will be hosting their Second Annual Salmon Run 5k/10k as well! There is a 9 a.m. check in at Dean Hall and the race will start at 10 a.m.! It’s $20 to register for the 5k and $25 to register for the 10k and there will be a Small Fry Kid’s Dash that is free! You can register at http://www.cwu.edu/tickets and all registered runners will be entered into a raffle for great prizes from local businesses!
