Nash Fung is not your typical pull the rabbit out of the hat magician. CWU students will be able to witness sleight of hand, mind reading, and more on January 16, 2019 at 8 p.m. in the SURC Theatre. The CWU alum and Seattle- based magician will leave students on the edge of their seats with some mind-boggling, interactive entertainment.
“I went to Central with Nash and he used to do magic tricks at Wing Central. Campus Activities staff also saw him perform at the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) conference and loved the performance,” said Assistant Director of Campus Activities Robbi Goninan. “When we asked him to perform at Central he was super excited to come and get back to his roots.”
“Going to college with Nash was like seeing a show in Vegas every Friday night in the dorm lobby,” added Executive Director of Student Involvement Jeff Rosenberry. “His charisma and humor were contagious and he always knew how to put on a great magic show. I have no doubt he will knock the socks of the crowd…or maybe even make their socks disappear.”
This renowned magician has performed for audiences all across the globe. Fung has been featured on The CW, Pen & Teller: Fool Us, Evening Magazine, King 5 News, Sky PerfectTV (Japan), and much more.
