Handling Holiday Stress

Tis the Season Series, ft. Holiday Stress

The excitement of holidays brings the anticipation of ugly sweater, cookies, dinners, family and friend gatherings, thankfulness and the start of a new year. What also accompanies all of these wonderful things is the stress of getting everything done just the way you imagine it to be. So, to save you some time, here are some ways I handle the holiday rush of stress. Maybe you can use them too!

  • 🎄 Drinking tea, starting off the day with a nice cup of tea makes me feel calm and collected. Giving me the confidence to make it through my day
  • 🎄Check list, I love making a list of what I need to get done over the month. During the holiday season I usually make a list week by week because there are so many events happening. This makes me feel organized and less flustered.
  • 🎄Distributing, sharing the load of tasks that need to be complete. This is really good if you are hosting something, giving tasks to others to help everything come together is really smart. That way you know everything is going to get completed and it doesn’t solely rely on you
  • 🎄Early shopping, personally I prefer to shop early for gifts. That way when it comes closer to celebrating, I don’t have to worry about getting a gift. I already have one and now get to enjoy the company of others.
