The Recipe to Happiness From A Wildcat

My Recipe for Russian Tea

By Quade Finney

When the seasons change and the weather begins to get colder, one of my favorite things to do is turn on my favorite movie or T.V show and make myself my favorite winter drink called Russian Tea.

Russian Tea is an old family tradition of mine that we always make in the winter. Some people have heard of it before, but I assume that most people haven’t. Which is why I’d like to share the recipe with you.

It’s usually made in a big batch, so I’ll share that batch, along with smaller batches for those who don’t want to make as much of it.

Standard Batch:

  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 pound of tang
  • 1½ cups of instant tea
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 package of lemonade mix

Half Batch:

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • ½ pound of tang
  • ¾ cup of instant tea
  • ½ teaspoon of ground clove
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ package of lemonade mix

Quarter Batch:

  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ¼ pound of tang
  • 3/8 cup of instant tea
  • ¼  teaspoon of ground clove
  • ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ¼ package of lemonade mix

It’s one of my favorite drinks of all time, so I hope that this has helped you to make your own batch and I hope enjoy!
