CWU’s Information Services department is in the process of updating and improving Central’s wireless internet connection. The currently utilized “CWU-WPA” will be phased out in favor of the new “CWU-Wildcats” connection. With more bandwidth and faster connection speeds, “CWU-Wildcats” will better serve the entire CWU community while allowing room for future growth and expansion of campus facilities and the increasing number of users.
The switch will affect all devices currently connected to the internet via CWU’s Wi-Fi network, including computers, smartphones and gaming systems. “CWU Wildcats” is available for early adoption and students, staff and faculty are encouraged to update their connections and certificates in order to be ready for the removal of “CWU WPA” by the start of the 2015-16 academic year.
Apple users: delete cwu-wpa connection and add cwu-wildcats

Don’t be left in the dark. Prepare early and get your devices ready for CWU’s new wireless network so you’ll be ready to web-surf when you return to campus next year.
